Jim Keet

After graduating college Keet pursued a career in the hotel/restaurant industry, becoming one of the youngest innkeepers in the Holiday Inn system. In 1975, Keet joined Gerald Hamra to bring Wendy's Restaurants to Arkansas. During the next eleven years, the company developed, owned and operated twenty-seven Wendy's and Sisters' restaurants in Arkansas and Texas, with more than 1,200 employees.

In 1988, Keet joined the Board of Directors of Maxie's of America, Inc., a regional restaurant chain headquartered in Florida. He became the Chairman of the company in January of 1989 until he led the company to merge with Rally's Inc., in June 1991. Early in 1994, Keet became the Chairman of the GuestHouse International LLC, and in 1999 sold the company to Suburban Loges Of America, a publicly traded company. In July of 2002, Keet joined Barnhill's Buffet, Inc. as Vice Chairman. He then served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm until the company was acquired in February of 2005.

In September of 2008 Keet and his sons opened Taziki's Mediterranean Café in Little Rock, Arkansas. They now have 10 restaurants open with plans for additional restaurants in the future.. Keet also served as President and CEO of Taziki's,lnc. from September 2012-May 2016 which currently has 87 restaurants .They opened Petit and Keet, a polished casual restaurant, in 2017 with long time restauranteur Louis Petit. As is evidenced above, Keet has helped start numerous businesses in the hotel, restaurant, apartment, and real estate development industries helping create more than 4,000 jobs..

Community Involvement

Keet has served on more than 20 civic and charitable boards including Arkansas Children's Hospital, Arkansas Easter Seals, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the Arkansas Council on Economic Education, and Arkansas for Drug Free Youth Advisory Board. He also served on the boards of the Metropolitan YMCA, Arkansas Literacy Councils, the Urban League and the United Negro College Fund Advisory Board. Keet has received various awards and honors including The National Humanitarian Award from the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the FBI Community Service Award, the Outstanding Arkansas fund-raiser Award from the National Association of Fundraising Executives, and an Outstanding Legislator Award from the Arkansas Education Association.

He is a member of St. Andrew Church and has been married to Margaret Keet for 47 years. They have four children, Tommy, Chase Crocker, Jake and Cassie as well as four grandchildren, Holden Keet, Hawkins Crocker, and Margaret Elizabeth Crocker, and Dashiell Keet.

Lucas M. O'Gary

Lucas is a professional manager with a 24 year record of success overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects for government and private-sector clients. His past experience includes a variety of positions of increasing responsibility including: Project Engineering, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Estimator, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Construction and President. He brings a very diverse background of construction experience in commercial, hospitality, multi-family, single family, retail, restaurant and industrial construction.

As Partner / Chief Operating Officer for KO Construction Management LLC, Lucas is responsible for operations, project performance and overall P&L of KOCM. In addition, he is responsible for, but not limited to: Project Management, Risk Management, Field Operations, Change Management, Cost Management, Project Team Placement and overall employee development. He is an active member in the KOCM Leadership Group and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

James Thomas Keet (Tommy)

Tommy Keet is a partner in KO Construction Management, LLC (“KOCM”).    Tommy Keet is also the President of JTJ Restaurants, LLC, that owns and operates a total of 7 Taziki’s in Arkansas and 3 in Oklahoma.  Tommy is also the President of JTJ Juice Bars, LLC which owns and operates Paninis and Company in Midtown shopping Center in Arkansas and is a Partner in Petit and Keet Bar and Grill.

Tommy was also an original member of the Hat Club, a charitable organization based out of Little Rock with 125 members.  In 2018, he was asked to become the President and accepted. Since being formed in 2010, the Hat Club has thrown fun events that have raised over $450,000 for Charitable causes around Arkansas.  

Tommy’s background in law and detailed involvement in more than a dozen restaurant construction projects helps him to be a valuable member of the KOCM team. He acts as legal counsel and helps provide a detailed review of documents when necessary.  His involvement with Local Charities has helped to establish his reputation and the reputation of KOCM as a community minded business.

PARTNER

Jake Keet

Jake Keet is a partner in KO Construction Management, LLC.  He serves as Chief Operating of Officer of JTJ Restaurants, LLC which owns and operates ten Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe Restaurants in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Panini's and Company Restaurant in Little Rock, and Petit and Keet Bar and Grill in Little Rock.  Jake has been responsible for overseeing operations for all of Central Arkansas since his promotion to Vice President two years ago. 

The restaurants have been recognized as the best in the Taziki's system and Jake was named Chief Operating Officer for the company in early July of 2018. All three brands have been recognized as the best in their respective categories as well. His knowledge of restaurant operations and kitchen design will continue to be a valuable resource for KOCM.  

He is married to Stephanie Keet and they have two children, Dashiell and Holden. 

Jake also holds his Realtor license in Arkansas as part of the Little Rock Realtor's Association.

WARRANTY MANAGER

Don Lewis

As a Warranty Manager for KOCM, Don Lewis is responsible for any and all aspects of maintenance including but not limited to: Preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, service calls, safety, and coordination of 2nd tier contractors. He is an active member of KOCM and reports directly to the President and CEO.  He has worked with the Keet Family for 23 years.

Don is a seasoned professional with 35 years of experience overseeing all phases of maintenance. He is an expert in his field and prides himself on quality. Don is excellent at maintaining open communication with owners, owner's representatives, general managers, and vendors. He is experienced in HVAC, electrical plumbing cost control, time management, employee development, preventative maintenance programs, review of cost reports, schedule and conflict resolution. Don is backed by strong credentials and a proven history of quality work.
